Hallmark has announced that there will be 47 new movies to look forward to this holiday season. The festivities will kick off on Oct. 18 with new movies premiering every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night throughout the holiday season.

The Hallmark Channel will receive 31 new films. Hallmark Mystery will show nine new movies as part of its “Miracles of Christmas” event.

The “Christmas on Cherry Lane” franchise will add seven new films expanding the stories of all the existing characters. “Unwrapping Christmas” is a new franchise that will be made up of four films and will follow a group of friends working in a store named “All Wrapped Up.”

In addition to films, “Finding Mr. Christmas” will be an eight-episode reality competition hosted by Jonathan Bennett and judged by Melissa Peterman. The winner of the series will make his debut as a “hunk” in Happy Howlidays on Dec. 21.
