First place went to Final Destination: Bloodlines with $51M, bringing in more than some previous entries did in their full domestic runs. It took in a further $51M in the foreign markets for a global opening of $102M.
Thunderbolts landed in second place with $16.53M for a new domestic total of $155.42M. It has taken in $170.3M in the foreign markets for a global total of $325.72M.
Third place went to Sinners with $15.42M. Its domestic total now sits at $240.79M. It has taken in $67.92M in the foreign markets for a global total of $308.72M.
A Minecraft Movie came in fourth with $5.87M for a new domestic total of $416.64M. It has taken in $500.77M in the foreign markets for a global total of $917.41M.
Fifth place went to The Accountant 2 with $4.95M for a new domestic total of $59.07M. It has taken in $31.19M in the foreign markets for a global total of $90.27M.
The wide releases this week are The Last Rodeo, Lilo & Stitch, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and Friendship.
