First place went to F1: The Movie with $55.6M. It has taken in $162K in the foreign markets from a small opening for a global launch of $55.76M.
How to Train Your Dragon came in second with $19.4M for a new domestic total of $200.05M. It has taken in $197.69M in the foreign markets for a global total of $397.75M.
Third place went to Elio with $10.7M in the U.S. for a domestic total of $42.22M. It has taken in a further $14.11M on foreign screens for a global total of $56.34M.
M3GAN 2.0 opened in fourth place with $10.2M, well under the opening of the first film.
Fifth place went to 28 Years Later with $9.7M in the U.S. for a new domestic total of $50.35M. It has taken in a further $29.97M in the foreign markets for a global total of $80.32M.
The wide releases this week is Jurassic World Rebirth.
