Marvel Studios has announced that due to some requested edits in various countries, The Eternals will be skipping some nations.

Nations around the world have different standards for playing films, so it’s not uncommon for there to be minor edits to get a movie through a ratings board. It seems, however, that some edits were too much for Marvel Studios on The Eternals.
In Kuwait and Qatar, there appears to have been an underlying issue with the film as the nations don’t like films with depictions of gods and prophets. While the Eternals aren’t actual gods, it’s easy to see how they could be interpreted as such.
In the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt, all scenes of intimacy have been removed. This is a normal edit for these countries, and was to be expected.
The issue this time came from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. Beyond the removal of all intimate scenes, the countries apparently requested some further edits that Marvel Studios would not agree to. Instead of making those cuts, the studio has opted to not release the film in those territories.
The Eternals is opening now across the U.S. and other countries.
