Despicable Me 4 wins another weekend at the box office

Animation is dominating the summer box office season.

Despicable Me 4 took the top spot at the box office for a second weekend with $44.65M for a new domestic total of $211.1M. It has taken in $226.7M in the foreign markets for a global total of $437.8M.

Second place went to Longlegs with $22.6M.

Inside Out 2 took in $20.74M for a new domestic total of $572.59M. The foreign markets have taken in $777.5M for a global total of $1.350B.

Fourth place went to A Quiet Place: Day One with $11.8M for a new domestic total of $116.22M. It has taken in $104.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $220.72M.

Fly Me to the Moon landed in fifth place with $10M.

The wide releases this week are Oddity and Twisters.
