Civil War takes the top spot at the box office for second week

The box office was down around 50% from the same weekend last year, leading to another quiet weekend all around.

Civil War took the top spot at the box office this weekend with $11.12M for a new domestic total of $44.88M, its global total sits at $48.19M.

Second place went to Abigail with $10.2M. It took in $5.02M overseas for a global total of $15.22M.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire landed in thrid place with $9.45M for a new domestic total of $171.61M. It has taken in a further $313.6M in foreign markets for a global total of $485.21M.

Fourth place went to The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare with $9.02M.

Spy x Family Code: White opened in fifth place with $4.87M. It has already taken in $40.01M overseas for a global total of $44.88M.

The wide releases this week are Challengers and Unsung Hero.
