June is upon us, and that means it’s time for Apple TV Plus to get a new selection of streaming material for users to enjoy.

June 4
Stick (TV-MA Comedy Series)
Created by Jason Keller, the sports comedy “Stick” stars and is executive-produced by Owen Wilson. The 10-episode series will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on Wednesday, June 4, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through July 23.
In “Stick,” Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets and future entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager).
“Stick” is a heartfelt, feel-good sports comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before. In addition to Wilson and Dager, the ensemble cast includes Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant, and features guest appearances from golf superstars such as Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, and more.
Additional cameos include broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, Good Good’s Matt Scharff, Brad Dalke, and Garrett Clark, as well as golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport.
“Stick” is showrun by Keller, who also serves as executive producer alongside Wilson, Ben Silverman for Propagate Content and Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady. The series is also executive produced by Howard T. Owens, Rodney Ferrell, Drew Buckley, Lee Eisenberg, Natalie Sandy, Christopher Moynihan, Bill Callahan, Valerie Faris, Jonathan Dayton, and Jaffar Mahmood.
Faris, Dayton, and Mahmood serve as directors along with David Dobkin, MJ Delaney, and John Hamburg.
June 13
Echo Valley (Thriller Film)
“Echo Valley” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 13. In the edge-of-your-seat thriller, Kate (Academy Award winner Julianne Moore) is a mother struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (multi-Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney) — a situation that becomes even more perilous when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood.
As Kate pieces together the shocking truth of what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in this gripping tale of love, sacrifice, and survival from BAFTA Award-winning director Michael Pearce and Emmy Award-nominated writer Brad Ingelsby.
An Apple Original Film, “Echo Valley” is directed by Pearce and written by Ingelsby. The film is produced by Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss of Scott Free Films, alongside Kevin J. Walsh through The Walsh Company and Ingelsby.
Rebecca Feuer and Nicole Jordan-Webber of Scott Free Films, Erika Olde and Sam Roseme of Black Bicycle Entertainment, Ted Deiker, and Scott Greenberg serve as executive producers.
Not a Box (TV-Y Kids & Family Series)
Apple TV+’s all-new animated preschool series “Not a Box” premieres globally on Friday, June 13. The series is inspired by the beloved, award-winning children’s picture book of the same name by the New York Times bestselling author and illustrator Antoinette Portis.
Get creative with bright-eyed bunny Riley! With just one cardboard box, Riley imagines magical worlds — full of new friends and fantastic adventures.
With Isabel Birch as Riley and Ian James Corlett (“Dragon Ball Z”) as Adult, the eight-episode series invites young viewers and their families to create, explore, and celebrate as they step into a rich world of environments, characters, and encounters that is as limitless as their imaginations.
“Not a Box” is produced by Dete Meserve’s Silver Creek Falls Entertainment with Meserve serving as executive producer. The series is written and co-executive produced by Emmy Award winner Michael Rabb. The animation is produced by Passion Pictures with executive producers Debbie Crosscup and Andrew Ruhemann, and directed by Siri Melchior.
Additional executive producers include Harry Lowell for NiteLite Pictures, and Angus Wall and Linda Carlson for Rock Paper Scissors. Kate Robinson, director of the Sir Ken Robinson Foundation and daughter of Sir Ken Robinson, serves as the imagination and creativity expert on the series through Apple TV+’s changemakers initiative.
Robinson co-authored her late father’s manifesto, “Imagine If… Creating a Future for Us All,” which celebrates how the power of imagination can create and recreate the world.

The Buccaneers Season 2 (TV-14 Drama Series)
The eight-episode second season of the acclaimed hit drama will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with one episode on Wednesday, June 18, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through August 6.
“The Buccaneers” welcomes returning cast members to its second season, including Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Aubri Ibrag, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threapleton, Emmy Award nominee Christina Hendricks, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome, Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Amelia Bullmore, Fenella Woolgar and newcomers Leighton Meester, Greg Wise, Jacob Ifan, Grace Ambrose and Maria Almeida.
Musical highlights of the second season include Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, and songs from Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Clairo, Sharon Van Etten, St. Vincent, Bleachers, and The Last Dinner Party.
The original soundtrack for season two celebrates the return of executive music producer Stella Mozgawa and features Empress Of’s new single “Little Secret” along with new music from Suki Waterhouse, Madi Diaz, Holly Humberstone, Kacy Hill, Jade Bird, Emily Kokal of Warpaint, and more.
In the first season of “The Buccaneers,” a group of fun-loving young American girls exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s, setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Now the Buccaneers are no longer the invaders — England is their home.

Smoke (TV-MA Drama Series)
Created by Dennis Lehane, the crime drama “Smoke” stars and is executive-produced by Taron Egerton. The nine-episode series premieres globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 27, with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through August 15.
Inspired by true events, “Smoke” follows a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator as they pursue the trails of two serial arsonists.
Starring Egerton as arson investigator Dave Gudsen and Emmy Award nominee Jurnee Smollett as police detective Michelle Calderone, “Smoke” also features Rafe Spall, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Emmy Award nominee Anna Chlumsky, Adina Porter, Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Greg Kinnear, and Emmy Award winner John Leguizamo.
Hailing from Apple Studios, “Smoke” is created by Lehane, who also serves as writer and executive producer. Egerton executive produces alongside Richard Plepler on behalf of EDEN Productions, Bradley Thomas, and Dan Friedkin through Imperative Entertainment, and Kari Skogland, Joe Chappelle, and Jane Bartelme.
The fictional series is inspired by truth.media’s acclaimed “Firebug” podcast, which was hosted by Academy Award and Emmy Award winner Kary Antholis, who executive produces for Crime Story Media, LLC.
Emmy Award winner Marc Smerling serves as executive producer for Truth Podcasting Corp. Series directors include Skogland, Chappelle, and Jim McKay.
