Weapons Takes the Top Spot at the Box Office

Weapons took the top spot at the box office with $42.5M, coming in above estimates. It took in a further $27.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $70M.

Second place went to Freakier Friday with $29M. It took in $15.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $44.5M.

Fantastic Four: First Steps came in third with $15.5M for a new domestic total of $230.41M. It has taken in a further $203.8M in the foreign markets for a global total of $434.21M.

Fourth place went to The Bad Guys 2 with $10.4M for a domestic total of $43.4M.. It has taken in $40.54M in the foreign markets for a global total of $83.95M.

The Naked Gun landed in fifth place with $8.37M for a domestic total of $33.01M. It has taken in $23.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $56.41M.

The wide releases this week are Americana, Eli Roth Presents: Jimmy and Stiggs, Highest 2 Lowest, and Nobody 2.
