Roku has announced major updates are coming to its Smart Home cameras for both on the TV and on the web.

The Roku Smart Home cameras will be expanding their functionality on the television, camera, and phones. The biggest announcements are definitely in the realm of television.

Beginning this coming winter, you’ll be able to launch a Camera Carousel that cycles through all of your Roku cameras and focuses on any camera that detects motion. In case you aren’t in the Carousel, however, you will have the option to set up notifications that can pop up on your screen in a similar fashion to what you’re used to on your phone.

A similar Carousel experience will be coming to the web as well so you’ll be able to monitor them on your computer.

The new features will support Roku’s Floodlight Camera, Video Doorbell, Wire-free Video Doorbell and Chime, Indoor 360 Camera, Outdoor Wire-free Camera, and the Indoor and Outdoor Wired Camera SE.
