Zootopia 2 took in $26.3M over the weekend for a new domestic total of $258.97M. It has taken in $877.7M in the international markets for a global total that sits at $1.136B. The announcement of a third film seems inevitable at this point.
Second place went to Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 with $19.5M for a new domestic total of $95.48M. It has pulled in $78.3M overseas for a global total of $173.79M.
Wicked: For Good landed in third place with $8.55M for a new domestic total of $312.14M. It has taken in $155.81M in the foreign markets for a global total of $467.96M.
Fourth place went to Dhurandhar with $3.5M for a domestic total of $7.81M. It’s global total sits at $8.69M.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t came in fifth with $7M for a new domestic total of $49.67M. It has brought in $109.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $152.07M.
The wide releases this week are Avatar: Fire and Ash, David, The Housemaid, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants.
