Weapons Recaptures the Top Spot at the Box Office

It was a surprising weekend at the box office as Warner Bros. manages to have another win.

Weapons came in first with $10.21M for a new domestic total of $132.39M. It has taken in a further $100M in the foreign markets for a global total of $232.39M.

A 50th anniversary release of Jaws managed to bring in $8.1M to land in second place.

Third place went to Caught Stealing with $7.82M. It has taken in $5.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $13.22M.

Freakier Friday landed in fourth place with $6.52M for a domestic total of $80.47M. It has taken in $50.4M in the foreign markets for a global total of $130.87M.

Fifth place went to The Roses with $6.35M. It has taken in $9.2M in the foreign markets for a global total of $15.55M.

The wide releases this week are The Conjuring: Last Rites, Hamilton, The Legend of Hei 2, Light of the World, Twinless, and Splitsville.
