Street Fighter Cast Includes Just About Everyone

The Street Fighter cast has been announced, and it’s a who’s-who of fighters from various versions of the hit game over the years.

Legendary has signed a new three-year deal with Paramount Pictures, and the brought with it the long-gestating Street Fighter movie. To celebrate the news, the cast was announced, and it is absolutely massive.

• Blanka – Jason Momoa
• Cammy – Mel Jarnson
• Chun-Li – Callina Liang
• Dan Hibiki – Andrew Schul
• Dhalsim – Vidyut Jammwal
• Don Sauvage – Eric André
• E. Honda – Hirooki Goto
• Guile – Cody Rhodes
• Joe – Alexander Volkanovski
• Juli – Rayna Vallandingham
• Ken – Noah Centineo
• M. Bison – David Dastmalchian
• Ryu – Andrew Koji
• Vega – Orville Peck
• Zangief – Olivier Richters

One has to imagine that some of these characters will receive very limited screen time, but we’ll have to wait and see.

The story is said to be set in 1993 and will focus on Chun-Li bringing together estranged street fighters Ryu and Ken to fight in the World Warrior Tournament.

Kitao Sakurai will be directing the film which currently has a release date of Oct. 16, 2026.
