Things are finally approving at the box office after a very rough start to the season.

The top spot went to Inside Out 2 with $57.4M for a new domestic total of $469.3M. The foreign markets have taken in $545.5M for a global total of $1.014B, making it the fastest animated movie to hit that milestone.
A Quiet Place: Day One opened in second place with $53M, and a further $45.5M in the foreign markets for a global total of $98.5M.
Third place went to Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 $11M. This is going to be an interesting on to watch play out as Part 2 will debut in just six weeks.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die took fourth place with $10.33M, bringing the domestic total to $165.25M. Combined with the $166.7M in the foreign markets, it has a global total of $331.95M.
Fifth place went to The Bikeriders with $3.3M for a new domestic total of $16.2M. It’s taken in $7.48M overseas for a global total of $23.69M.
The wide releases this week are Despicable Me 4, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot, and MaXXXine.
