Barbie scores a second huge win at the box office

Barbie took the top spot at the box office for a second weekend with $93M for a new domestic total of $351.4M. It has taken in $423.1M in the foreign markets for a global total of $774.5M off of an estimated budget of $155M.

Second place went to Oppenheimer with $46.2M for a new domestic total of $174.06M. It has taken in $226.32M overseas for a global total of $400.38M.

Haunted Mansion opened in third place with $24.2M domestic, and $9M at the international box office for a global total of $33.2M.

Fourth place went to Sound of Freedom with $12.4M for a new domestic total of $148.97M.

Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One landed in fifth place with $10.72M for a new domestic total of $139.23M. Combined with its $252.1M from overseas, the film stands at $370.85M globally.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny landed in fifth place with $6.7M for a new domestic total of $159.01M. It has taken in $307.99M at the foreign box offices for a global total of $447.22M.

This week’s wide releases are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and The Meg 2: The Trench.
