It has been announced that Rory McCann will take over the role of Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka season 2 from the late Ray Stevenson.

Following production of Ahsoka season 1, Stevenson passed away in May 2023 at the age of 58. He starred in the first season as a former Jedi named Baylan Skoll, who had taken on an apprentice named Shin Hati. When season 1 drew to a close, Skoll had gone off on his own mission in another galaxy, exploring the origins of the Force.
It looked as though the character had more story to be told, so it isn’t too surprising that Lucasfilm decided to recast the role. McCann is best known for playing The Hound in Game of Thrones.
No word as of yet as to when Ahsoka season 2 will debut.
